There is a category in Kavya variety of Sanskrit literature known as Champu . Champu is the admixture of prose & poetry. The Nrisinghachampu text written by Keshava Pandit or also known as Keshava Bhatta, is a well-known work. It is on Lord Nrisimha who is considered as one of the incarnations of Lord Vishnu. The whole theme is based on the mythological story of Lord Nrisimha, his devotee Prahllad & Hiranyakasipu.
