This is a poetry written by Ghatakarpara, who was one of the court poets of king Vikramaditya. There is no other text ascribed to him other than this. Therefore, scholars anxiously wait to hear something special from this text. This text is with an auto-commentary known as Ghatakarpari, meaning thereby a commentary by Gatakarpara himself. These poems are basically of romantic in nature. The romantic feelings/sentiments of a lover in different seasons are nicely depicted here. The description of nature under different circumstances has a pivotal tone through these poems.
